Using Boxbe with Microsoft Outlook
Boxbe recognizes people use email in different ways - and Outlook is the world's most popular email client. Boxbe brings its benefits seamlessly to Outlook users by putting the best of Boxbe right inside your Outlook experience.
Boxbe for Outlook is currently supported on Windows XP with Outlook 2003 (it also works Windows Vista with Outlook 2007, but hasn't been as thoroughly tested). You don't have to leave Outlook to enjoy the benefits of using Boxbe - everything is right there at your fingertips from the screens you use every day.
Boxbe makes building your Guest List easy!
Easy to set up and keep up to date! Boxbe builds your Guest List from your contacts and the folders you choose to scan for addresses. Boxbe gives you a master Guest List in minutes. Delete anyone from or add anyone to your Guest List at any time. The Guest List not only makes sure you receive emails from people that matter, but also shows you who you email and who emails you the most!
Integrates directly into Outlook
Boxbe creates a "Boxbe Waiting List" folder for messages from guests not yet approved - and the messages are "scored" 1 to 10 based on their "spam factor" alongside your folders.
Add or delete Guests within Outlook
With the Boxbe navigation bar in Outlook, you can approve or block senders while you are looking at your email list or at an individual email. Clicking on the Approve button while reading a waitlisted message will move the message to your Inbox and add the sender to your Guest List.
Protects all your addresses
More than one email address in your Outlook inbox? No problem. Boxbe screens all your email addresses. Boxbe works with POP3, Exchange or IMAP. Boxbe creates a separate Boxbe Waiting List folder for your IMAP accounts, and works even if you have Outlook running on a home and work machine at the same time!
Boxbe for Outlook settings
Boxbe's default settings are there for quick and easy install, but you can adjust them any time you like. Just click on "Boxbe" in the toolbar, or go to the "Tools" menu link in Outlook and click on Boxbe settings.
